The Business Opportunity Exchange (BOE) is the premier supplier diversity and small business development conference in Georgia each year. Hosted by the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC) is committed to serving the diverse supplier community during these challenging times. As the GMSDC celebrates 45 years of facilitating relationships, creating jobs and stimulating Georgia’s economy, the current business climate mandates a focus on the survival, success and sustainability of the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) firms across the state, many of whom have been devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent economic downturn. To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, the 2020 BOE will be a virtual event themed Adjusting your 2020 Vision. The conference is a full week of workshops, speakers, networking, presentations and matchmaking, to be delivered virtually over technology platforms.
Scheduled for Minority Business Opportunity Week (MBOW) – September 14 – 18, 2020 – the BOE is five days of capacity building and engagement activities designed to stimulate opportunities. MBOW is a ceremonial designation by state and local governmental entities of a week to honor the achievements of minority business and to renew our collective commitment to engaging them and utilizing them in global and governmental supply chains. It is especially timely in our current climate, as many minority and small businesses struggle to survive in the pandemic economy.
