The GMSDC offers a variety of events and activities designed to allow MBE’s to meet and interact with corporate members and each other. The goal is to provide optimal exposure to the many opportunities that are available in Georgia, by providing ways to build relationships with potential business partners. These win-win business partnerships account for more than $7 billion in revenues and thousands of jobs throughout the state of Georgia. Through its many relationship development and matchmaking activities, the GMSDC helps MBEs to grow and strengthens communities in the process. Here are just some of our networking events:

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY EXCHANGE (BOE)

April 25-26, 2019 – Cox Enterprise
The BOE is our Premier business to business networking event of the year, and the largest minority supplier diversity conference in the Southeast. This event features Minority Business Enterprise presentations, Individual Procurement Conferences that offer the inside track on doing business with leading corporations in Georgia, and Matchmaking Sessions that provide one-on-one formal engagement with target companies providing personal feedback.

Every year our members look forward to this featured outdoor event at the prestigious East Lake Golf Course. The day allows members to display their true sportsmanship on the rolling greens, network with C-level executives, and walk away with a trophy to proudly display in their office.

The GMSDC hosts a monthly breakfast meeting, on the first Friday of the month, in the Council’s headquarters offices at 759 W Peachtree Street, Suite 107. This event is an opportunity to meet Council leadership and discuss trends or suggestions relevant to our mission.
